I've been using Smooth Moves Frizz Control Hair Cream for a few days now and I must say I'm impressed! I got it for free from Influenster's Beauty Bloggers VoxBox.
It's certainly not as expensive as the Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum. It does weigh my hair down a little bit, but not enough to make it feel dirty. It could be that I have blonde hair which tends to be lighter and more prone to getting oily.
The scent is really nice, reminds me of summer. Warm coconut :) I blow dry my hair every day so this product helped by cutting the drying time! I don't know how but it did! Pretty cool.
I'd give it an A-/B+ overall

My First VoxBox!
I can't believe it was just a few days ago that I said I was so excited about looking forward to being chosen for a voxbox...and here it is!!

"OK, so what's inside??"
And my little Timmy approves... I think. LOL!

Of the scents that influenster.com sent out in their VoxBox, I got Cider Lane. It smells like a caramel apple to me. It's quite sweet so when you burn it, make sure you are into sugary scents. ;) I already have one of their Fall scents, "Leaves" burning in my house and it makes my whole house smell so good!! I've had it for a year now and only use it during the cold months. It's back out and though it's been lit for hours at a clip, it's only halfway done! (I have the 3-wick candle size).
I'm looking forward to using Not Your Mother's Smooth Moves when I do my hair in the morning... I smelled it and it's amazing! It says it's infused with coconut and silk extracts. I think that'd be a nice smell all day long; to remind me of warmer weather (though I LOVE the Fall the best!). The verdict isn't out yet on how it will manage my finicky hair. It's supposed to smooth out the frizz but allow for soft, natural curls. We'll see!

Jenn's Chicken Pad Thai
INGREDIENTS:

- Thai rice noodles (enough for 2-4 people)
- Cooking oil for stir-frying
- 1-1½ Tbs. minced garlic
- Boneless, skinless chicken, sliced (enough for 2-4 people)
- 1 block of firm tofu, cubed
- 2-3 Eggs, scrambled
- 3-4 green onions, sliced
- 1/3 cup crushed peanuts
PAD THAI SAUCE:
- 2-3 Tbs. Lime juice
- 2-3 Tbs. Fish Sauce
- Brown Sugar (enough to balance out flavor/tartness)
DIRECTIONS:
1.Bring a large pot of pot to a boil and remove from heat. Dunk in your rice noodles. Allow noodles to soak while you prepare the other ingredients. Drain and rinse with cold water. Set aside.
2.Make the Pad Thai Sauce by combining the sauce ingredients together in a cup. Stir well to dissolve the brown sugar. Set aside.
3.Warm up a wok or large frying pan over medium-high heat. Add cooking oil and garlic. Stir-fry until fragrant.
4.Add chicken and tofu. Stir-fry until chicken is done.
5.Add the noodles, and pour the Pad Thai sauce over. Using two spatulas, or wooden spoons, immediately stir-fry the noodles by folding carefully so as to not break the noodles.
6.Add scrambled eggs and work through noodles
7.Remove from heat and add onion and crushed peanuts.
